We were appointed to deliver a PV and BESS system for Tekwani, a family-owned leader in South Africa’s sawmilling and forestry industries. The 2,752 kWh BESS installation included two 1375 W Sungrow PCS, a 22 kV 2.5 MW step-down transformer and a 22 kV 3.15 MW step-up transformer. To reduce the power from the grid a solar plant of 1,052 x 555 W panels, three 200 kW Huawei inverters was installed. This solution reduced operational costs, protected operations from loadshedding disruptions, and reinforced Tekwani’s culture of continuous improvement.
